Santemar Hotel Santander

Great location near the boardwalk and restaurants. Recently updated rooms, very clean. Lobby feels old, but elevator leads to a brand new environment. Nice views with a bit of sea and green garden. Helpful staff, some speak English. Elegant, clean room with sea view. Varied breakfast with good quality food. Convenient location, close to bars, restaurants, and the beach. Large, comfortable bed and super shower. Japanese garden dining area restricted to guests only, excellent dinner, and breakfast choice. Efficient maintenance service, quick response to fridge issue. Fantastic service, quick and thorough cleaning of room and replacement of fridge.

The hotel had a great location, being close to restaurants and right next to a beautiful beach. It was also convenient for those wanting to catch a ferry, as it was only a short drive away. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, with amenities such as a jacuzzi bath and a coffee machine. The staff were friendly and the cleaning lady was particularly friendly. The wifi was also good and stable, with fast upload speeds.

The walls and doors in the rooms were thin like paper, making them very loud and not ideal for those seeking a quiet stay.

We had a great time here! The location is just perfect, right next to the beach with plenty of options for restaurants around. The room was spacious, clean and with all the necessary amenities. The staff was very helpful and provided us with excellent services and room service. The shuttle service was a great plus for us as it made our travel around here much more accessible. The hotel had a beautiful garden area and a public bath which was another plus. We highly recommend this place for anyone visiting this area.

Breakfast had a wide variety, plenty of choice. Room was spacious with good AC. Bed was firm and comfortable. Staff was polite and helpful. Parking was convenient. Beach location was fantastic.

During my recent stay at a hotel in Santander, I encountered an issue with the mini bar in my room. However, the prompt response and efficient service from the maintenance team impressed me. Within minutes of notifying reception, two maintenance men arrived and swiftly replaced the faulty fridge. They even took the initiative to clean up the small pool of water that had formed. The level of service they provided was truly commendable.
